“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page

Title quote by St.Augustine

The next few days I have work, packing and running to consume my days !
Then on Monday I am Munich bound !

That was a sneaky little peak at a few of the new goodies I got myself, the first shoes I got a few weeks ago but forgot to show them here.
I think Ill have to do a mini fashion show to have some kind of idea what I will have to take with me. I will only be gone for a week but still, I want t try and pack light…Im not so sure how that will go!

I do hope its going to be sunny in Munich, as I am looking forward to sipping a lovely cocktail like this whilst sitting outside under the sunshine!

Traveling is one of the most beautiful privileges of our life.. Well I think it is and i hope this trip to Munich sets of my summer trips very well!

“Our battered suitcases were piled on the sidewalk again; we had longer ways to go. But no matter, the road is life.” –
Jack Kerouac

Lazy Sunday Afternoon….

Lazy Sunday afternoon
I’ve got no mind to worry
I close my eyes and drift away-a
Lyrics – The Small Faces

This was my lazy , rainy and cold Sunday afternoon!

I went with my family to the sculpture park

It is so pretty here, the art and animals make the poor weather seem fine.

It did brighten up whilst we were there, but only after the rain had got my toes wet!

The above sculpture was of a rabbit and his body was made with lots of different bits, very interesting!

This is one i loved the most. These two rabbits dancing within the trees, it made me think of Alice in Wonderland and the Mad hatter !
For some foolish reason i didnt get a photo of this unusual sculpture from the front. I really should have, it was strange looking but also fantastic. It was 3D from the front view!

Here is me sheltering from the rain under many trees and in-front of a small tree house. I remember when I was younger and this tree house (the door you can see on the left) used to be open and they used to take little children up there. Sadly it is not now and people have posted rubbish through that letter box ! tut tut people are terrible !

They hold classes here, and these creative folk were makin some amazing works of art!

Ive had lots on my mind this weekend, so coming for a walk was just what i needed.

The views are beautiful in rain or shine!

My family walking ahead as i slowly pranced around with my camera trying to shield him from the rain!

I missed the Mischa Barton love ….

but here it is……

After my run the other morning I sat down to have my breakfast and coffee and put the television on, The first episode of The OC was on….

The first time I watched The OC was in my ” first’ first ” year of university, all the boys in my flat were addicted to this show, I had never given it much time as Im not a really big TV person. Anyhow it came to the day where I was sat in front of the television and handed the box set. I put the first disc in, and by the time I new it, 8:00 had come and I was still watching The OC. Yes I was very much into it, the clothes, the sunshine and Sandy Cohen !

Anyway, what I am wanting to get onto is that I was never really such a crazy fan of Mischa Barton, i thought she was rather plain to be honest and never really saw the buzz. However over the past few months she has become someone I looked into a little more and I found out she is NOT plain and has a rather interesting style.
For me, I think, it that I like her very pretty yet girly hair against her rocked up outfits !

This last outfit she has on is quite perfect, I love all the black with the shots of gold on her jacket, her golden hair falls s nicely against it all!

Edit: Ps , I shall add where and who the photos are by after work today, silly of me not to put them!

Less hermione Granger more Emma Watson

Emma Watson

Okay so i was not crazy about the photo of Emma Watson on the cover of Elle, however I was very intrigued to find out more ! So I got the issue of Elle whilst away for a few days and I say outside the beach hut reading away.
My conclusion – Emma Watson looks fantastic in the photographs, she is interesting and the interview was pleasing to read.

I also then saw her on Jonathan Ross – looking very pretty and giving such a lovely little interview once again. As Wossy said, she was a lot less scary than Miley !

So i have to say, I was not a huge dedicated fan of the Harry potter books/films. I have read a few and have seen the films. But this girl, Emma Watson is going to go far (yes yes, I know, she has already gone far with being a wonderful actress and grown up in the Harry potter films). But I think she has a lot more waiting for us. She has something very intriguing, mysterious and the fact she is taking a big step into the university world means that she has a lot more to find out about her self personally and university sure does do that for everyone !

I am now a fan of this lovely girl and im quite excited to see what is to come! Good luck at university Emma Watson!

My weekend by the sea

I have been away for a few days at my parents holiday home. It was lovely and sunny and I was glad to see the seaside !

I love walking at night here, the sky looked so wondrous!

Sitting outside the beach hut in the sunshine on chairs with cushions I made !

Most of the days were like this – Sitting outside the beach hut, eating healthy lunch, reading old magazines and the new issue of Elle, which I actually really enjoyed.

I was hoping to get some running by the sea done, but a few days before I left, and luckily a day after the race for life, I fell on the sharp metal thing which the back door goes into and cut four of my toes…. really badly, they are starting to mend and I can actually walk now which is a bonus!

I REALLY want blonde hair BUT i dont think it will suit me :(

My dress is from White Stuff – Which I got on my trip to Leeds with my mum the other week. The cardi is from George !
