Oh hello kitty…

I have fallen for these Dr. Martens Hello Kitty boots, they are fun and look so very comfy ! They are £79.29 and very tempting to me right now, full of colour and will of course go with jeans or maybe a plain black dress.
What do you think of the Dr. Martens – Hello Kitty boots ?!

Coffee and Cannes !

Last week I had coffee and a walk in the park with friends, after it was time for ice cream in Chorlton with more friends ! The reason for the ice cream meeting was to try and decide where we will all be staying in Cannes ! I am happy to say that we have finally sorted it. We will sadly have to split up and stay in 3 separate places, but we will all meet up in the middle !

Gogo Buzz Gum !

I eat lots of fruit, veg and all things green but due to my insomnia I sometimes find I need a little energy boost, especially when I go and do 78 lengths…hell yes, I did that in the lovely swimming pool at my gym today. Anyway, my point is that this energy gum is fantastic, i picked up a packet on my last day at Holland and Barrett last week !
It has Guarana in it which is full of caffeine and helps to boost your memory, alertness and mood ! I find it has been really good chewing it before the gym or during work when I feel like I am falling off the tracks a little and even though I am a workaholic this does happen.
Oh i try not to over do it too much too.. just in case it makes my heart flutter a little due to asthma issues !
I of course will be buying more this week !

Just wanted to share that with you !

A dress for Cannes….

I will be needing a black dress for when I am in Cannes, below are two pretty ones I have spotted on Asos, I haven’t actually looked anywhere else just yet, but I will keep you updated with what I find. I am thinking that both of these dress will go quite delightfully with a pair of killer red heels, then again I don’t want to fall do I, so maybe just a pair of pretty red heels will do the job.

One Language Label…

I just popped by WishWishWish for a little read of her latest post, as always there was something quite delightful for my eyes. I am a huge fan of tote bags so I fell in love with this pretty little bag.

Photo is from WishWishWish !
Take a look at what else they have on offer, I can assure you that you will like what you see. Here is a sneaky little peak at what you will see. I really like the Half n Half one, well I like all of them but I always make myself pick one…so after payday maybe I will treat myself.

Aint he a Happy Hippo

A Kinder Happy Hippo as a snack at work, yes maybe a little unhealthy but a sure fine treat !
Everyone needs a Happy Hippo at work to keep them going, or just to spice up the day a little ! I say this even though I am very lucky and really enjoy my job. My friend J is making a logo for my health based project today, so once this is up on the Facebook group and other forms of media I will be able to share it with you.

A lovely weekend in Southwold..

IMG_9927
I spent most of the weekend in Southwold, sipping gin and tonic and reading a few issues of Dazed and Confused magazine. It was lovely and relaxing, but of course my mind was still very busy making plans and figuring out my new short term goals.. !

On Thursday I will be finishing job number two, it will be my last day there, however it will give me more time to work on projects and get involved with a lot more exciting things.

Now I am going to go and take a look at my friend L‘s new exciting blog ! She is a freelance photographer from London who blogs about astronomy, music and her daily life – check her out !

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, what did you do ?!

Living Nature.. with a dash of active Manuka…

Within the first week I got the Living Nature hand cream my mum stole it.. I had to go sneak it our of her handbag to use it ! We both adore it, I believe the magic ingredient is Manuka honey. I have become such a fan of Manuka honey, eating it, using it in lip balm form and now im getting my Manuka fix via this cream.
What is Manuka honey ?!

Manuka honey comes from New Zealand where beekeepers set up their hives in wild uncultivted areas in which Manuka bushes grow. The bees gather nectar from the flowers of the Manuka bush, which is indigenous only to New Zealand. The honey making process is enriched by the pollution free environment of New Zealand, and certain harvests of Manuka Honey have attracted the gaze of the medicial and scientific community. Some of the Manuka Honey produced has been found to have some very special properties indeed. – Link

The cream is so very thick and just perfect for keeping dry hands…erm not dry ! I really don’t even feel the need to keep applying it as often as I normally do with many of the other creams I use. It has a very light but pretty smell and really does help to repair sore hands as well has protect them. I have found that many creams do a good job of protecting your hands, but stop using them and your hands become sore and then they fail to repair any damage. Thankfully I think I have found my dream hand cream ( along with Hemp from The Body Shop ).

This is more of an expensive one at £12.49… but having used it and knowing how good it is for my skin I think it really is worth every single penny.

I must remember to order my mum a tube of this next time i visit the Mypure website !
