What I wore : Yellow..

H&M: coat and hat, Topshop: skirt, V&A: Bag, Primark: snood.
I took some colour inspiration from some flowers I spotted in the crispy cold weather yesterday. Adding a splash of yellow to your outfit at this time of year really makes you feel a little more like spring. However, I seem to have cancelled out that spring feeling with two big jumpers, a t-shirt and then squeezed into my coat and twisted a scarf around my neck to keep extra warm.
I have managed to get a very bad cold and this was my effort at keeping warm, sorry I look so big and bulky.. it’s all the layers…I promise ! This poor coat is my smart one, not the usual one I pick for walking by the sea…so it’s not made to be worn with layers.
I decided I was well enough for an ice cream, it really was worth it but I soon dashed home out of the cold and continued to pack for my trip tomorrow.

Gorgeous photos! I love the yellow skirt. I definitely agree that wearing something bright makes it feel a lot less miserable when the weather’s cold.

Taking color inspiration from flowers is a great idea. The burst of yellow looks great on you.
