I only have three pairs of Converse which is soon to be four with the arrival of a pair of bright yellow Converse at home (can’t wait to get back to try them on). I did have two other pairs but they have been chucked out because they just became too old and had been through too many festivals to be suitable to use in everyday life.
I am going to make a huge effort to embrace other kinds of shoes at the weekend, I obviously wear different shoes to work but I want to try and wear a heel at the weekend. I think I have just told a lie. I have some bright yellow Converse waiting to be worn in…!
As I am typing this I am on Spartoo looking at their Batman Converse and searching the internet for Vans Era 59 White and Tartan - If any of you know where I can find the Era 59s then please do tell me. I have found them in all kinds of colours but everywhere is sold out of the white and tartan. Office usually have a good selection of Vans but I had no luck this evening. I think they came out in 2010 so I know I am pushing it a bit. Also, I know I shouldn’t be asking you guys all the questions but where can I find a direct contact for Vans UK? I didn’t have any luck on the website.
Maybe I will have to share my ever growing collection of Vans with you soon.
xx
We had lovely weather here on Sunday, I even took my coat off it was that warm – I know I know! It’s true though, the sun was shining and Southwold beach was looking lovely. I was wearing black tights again because I was too lazy to dig out my collection of summer tights. I obviously went straight for wearing my red Converse because they are bright and comfy and I knew I was going for a long walk. I walked down the beach and across a field or two and I now fully have the craving for festivals. Are you going to any festivals this year? I can’t decide which to go to.
This is my favourite skirt from Topshop, I have had it for such a long time now and it will be sticking around this summer too. I am thinking of getting my sister to make me a few skirts in the same style but with some interesting fabrics I have found over the past year or so and not done much with. Do any of you make your own clothes? I really wish I had the time to do it, but because my sister does it so well I have become lazy.
It really could be summer couldn’t it! The sunshine actually gave me the motivation I needed to go running on Saturday and Sunday. I am not home during the week at the moment so haven’t been running but may see if there is a gym I can join on a monthly basis. I am enjoying the running more and more (kind of) and hope to keep going with it.
I first used the A’kin Hydrating Mist quite some time ago via Mypure and you can read what I thought of it here. Since then I have gone on to purchase a second bottle which has so far lasted me over 6 months. It’s not a product I need to use daily but something which I use when my skin is feeling extra dry. I find myself using it in the morning or after a shower to quickly hydrate my skin after the heat from the shower has drained it.
The A’kin Hydrating Mist smells of rose petals, it’s not an overpowering scent but lovely and light. I have had no irritation to my skin during my time using this mist.
I will continue to buy this each time it runs out, if you know of any other hydrating mists which will be good for sensitive skin as well as dry skin then please let me know.
Edit: Yo! I didn’t realise how cheesy the title of this post was! Sorry kids.
