I treated myself to some Lush soap in the Christmas sales. I had never seen Lady Catrina before and can assure you it smells delightful. The only problem with a beautiful Lush soap is that they are very chunky and obviously can't be used whole. I like to slice my Lush soaps (or any other homemade soaps) into easy to handle pieces and then store the ones I am not using in a plastic bag. I find that storing my soaps in this way means that they last longer and are much easier to use than as a whole chunk of soap.

Good simple idea :)
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how would one store them - and slicing them does make sense. Then you don`t have to use one chunk all the time until it finishes (because it turns soggy in the bathranoom). You can use one slice and then a different slice from another soap, and not worry about the soap loosing any of its goodness. Unfortunately i missed the sales... Maybe they`ll have one to sell the leftovers after the vday)

I need to get my hands on some Lush products. I only hear great things about them! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is how I store mine too. I have a block of Lady Catrina soap from a year ago and it's still good as new. :)
ReplyDeleteI never think of doing this I'm so silly! I always just use the blocks who and wonder how they last so long for other people! Now I know :) thankyou!
