On ear headphones

headphones
I have been using in ear headphones for a very long time. They have always been easy to keep in my bag as they don’t take up much space and they also hide under my hair. I found out not long ago that in ear headphones transfer dirt into your little ears pretty easily and it can cause infections. Since reading that I decided it was time to try something new.

On ear headphones have always seemed much more chunky and as silly as it sounds, I didn’t think they would suit me. It seems I was quite wrong. I have been using a pair of Sennheiser headphones over the last month or so and am already finding them much better than my in ear buds. I have been using these headphones with my iPhone, iPod and laptop. The best thing about them, by far, is the sound quality. It feels a little different wearing them at first but once you get used to having them on your head all is good. Winter is approaching so you can always pop a hat on top if you feel a little shy wearing them.

What style of headphones do you use?

I was the same! I used to use in-ear headphones all the time because I could just wrap them around my iPod/iPhone and just slip them in my bag but I wear headphones a lot at work and wearing in-ear ones started to give me earache after a while. Now I use Sennheiser HD 218i on-ear/over-ear headphones and I LOVE them. They also work as a handsfree which is pretty nifty.

I didn’t think they would suit me because I have so much hair but I’ve decided that it’s not so bad. ;)
