The kind people at Pukka Herbs got in contact with me the other month and asked if they could send over some tea for me to try. I was delighted to try some new tea from them as I have been buying tea from the brand for a few years now. A few days later a box of licorice and cinnamon arrived. The tea only lasted about two weeks on my desk (I blame Gadgetoid) because it tasted so so good.
I don’t like eating sticks of licorice, I find the taste a little sharp but this doesn’t come through in the taste of the tea. Pukka have made a delicious blend of licorice root, cinnamon, cardamom, cocoa and fennel seed. These winter spices make a warm and sweet tea which is perfect to drink through the day.
The next Pukka tea I want to try is peppermint & licorice. You can buy Pukka tea online or in Holland and Barrett, some supermarkets and local health shops like Calendula in Southwold.
