House & Home: Mushroom breakfast plates

Hi there! I hope you’ve all had a good Wednesday, did you do anything nice? I’ve spent most of my evening watching The Shield, drinking lots of tea and working on this little blog of mine. I actually need to do some apartment and house hunting this evening, but thought I’d quickly share my House & Home post with you.

I’ve been trying hard to save money over the last few months and I’m stepping up my game this month. I have some goals I want to reach and if it means that I need to have less coffee out, avoid eating out every week and stop popping into Topshop then that’s the way it will have to be for a while. However, there are a few things that I would consider buying but I’m not sure if it’s the right time. I’ve been trying to decide if I should be stocking up on new bits of kitchenware as and when I see them or wait ’till I move (again). I don’t want to keep accumulating things and having more and more to transfer to my next place but I also don’t want to miss out on things I really like.

These breakfast plates from Cath Kidston caught my eye a few months back. Around the same time that I mentioned the salt and pepper shakers. The mushroom plates fit perfectly with my style would look in a country style kitchen or even a modern city style. I like almost everything from the mushroom collection in CK but don’t really need it all which is why these plates are a stand-out item. The plates are £6.oo each which I’m happy to pay. I just need to decide if I buy them and keep them to one side for my next place or do I wait and risk missing out on my favourite print. What do you think I should do?
