House & Home: Ikea scented candle review

A big pack of tealights in the house is a must! You never know when you might need them and if you have pretty candle holders then you will know how easy it is to get through them. I tend to buy big packs from places like Ikea or Clas Ohlson.

I found some scented ones when I was last in Ikea and decided to try them out. The apple and cinnamon candles  come in a pack of 36 and are cheap and cheerful at just £1.50. It wont surprise you to hear that they have a very very light scent to them and once lit it’s very hard to detect. If you’re thinking of buying these then don’t pick them based on the scent because they’re a bit of a let down. If you’re in need of a certain colour, they have a very good range. Though these candles lack in scent they are generally petty good and last for a few hours.

There are lots of other brands of tealights about that smell delightful, such as Yankee. However, at the rate I go through them I don’t think it would be practical to use them on a daily basis.

I’ll probably stick with the unscented ones from Ikea when I next stock up.
