My week: Hello! I hope you’ve all had a good week. Mine’s been busy and productive, which is the way I like it. I had a few meetings, some work to finish off and a few personal projects to press on with. I’m starting a new job at the end of the month, so I’m making the most of January and want to wrap up various projects, house hunting and a few trips to Cambridge and London (if possible). I’m also trying to get to the gym as much as I can, I’ve got a feeling I’m going to be very busy over the next few months. Having a good gym routine will help for it to fall into place when I’m doing new things.

I made it to the gym 4 times this week. I didn’t hit my target of 5 days but I’m pleased with what I got done, including a lot of walking.  According to my Jawbone Up I walked about 33 miles over the week and then I did four gym sessions which consisted of swimming of just over a mile in 30 minute sessions. This isn’t amazing but I’ve only just got back into swimming. I want to push my swimming a lot for this upcoming week.

I haven’t just been working and going to the gym. I’ve managed to meet up with friends at lunch, evening meals (with wine), played computer games for the first time in ages and even had a deep tissue massage.

Enough gym and work talk! Here are some of my faves from the week.
