Beauty: Mavala Cherry Pink

Hello! How is everyone? I know it’s been a few days since I last updated the blog, I’ve had a lot going on. Today I have a beauty post for you. Did you know that Mavala do lipstick? Many people I talk to don’t seem to know. So it will come as no surprise that they also don’t know that Mavala also have a full make-up collection and not just the amazing little bottles of nail varnish.

I was kindly sent a few samples from the Cherry Lipstick collection and I’ve well and truly fallen for them. I love wearing bright lipstick, especially in the evening. It means I can be pretty lazy with the rest of my make-up and just focus on the lips.

This shade I’m talking about today is Cherry Pink. I’m 100% aware that the photo looks like I’ve Photoshopped the colour on. But I haven’t, these lipsticks really are that pigmented.

This lipstick glides on easily and can be built up or down to suit a day and night look. Cherry Pink is a true Barbie pink. I like that I can apply a little in the morning (work appropriate) and it will last for a good few hours. Then if I’m heading out in the evening I’ll apply a good strong swipe of this across my lips and it stays on all night. Even when I’m drinking silly amounts of whiskey and cocktails.

There are 6 bright and cheerful shades of pink and red within the collection. I suggest you find your local stockist because the shades are much nicer in real life than they look on the website.

These lipsticks are really hydrating which is brilliant for those of us with dry skin. I don’t even worry about applying extra lip balm throughout the day when I’m using the Mavala lipsticks. I had a little look on the website and it seems they’re filled with Shea and Vitamin E. This will explain why they feel so hydrating and moisturising.

You can check out the lipsticks on the Mavala website but you really must track them down IRL to really see how nice they are.

Have you used Mavala lipsticks before?
