Beauty: Ultrabland Review

IMG_3687

The last few posts have been focused on business and fashion, I think it’s time for a beauty post. Now, I wont be doing these types of posts as often as I used to, but when a product really stands out to me I’ll be sure to share it, it’s only fair. Today I’m sharing a cleanser that I should have told you about ages ago. Actually, a lot of you have probably heard of it and if you haven’t then read this post and pop into Lush to try it out. The product I want to share with you today is Ultrabland from Lush.

The cleanser is made up of  almond oil, rose water, beeswax and honey. It doesn’t have much of a scent to it. The product is a very thick consistency and I often apply it with a cotton pad or the tips of my fingers. It’s a gentle and soothing product that removes make-up and daily dirt from your face.

I have very sensitive skin and haven’t had any reactions to the product. It also doesn’t dry your skin out at all, it’s actually very moisturising and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

It’s delightfully simple to use. I apply it all over my face and then remove it with cotton pads. I once tried to wash it off in the shower, but that wasn’t such a good idea as the consistency is thick. You really must have a soft flannel or a hunk of cotton wool to hand to softly wipe the product away from your face.

I’ve purchased three pots of this stuff over the last two years. One large pot lasts for about 6 months, or at least for me. I alternate between Ultrabland and the Avene cleanser, depending on the amount of make-up I’ve been wearing.

Have you tried Ultrabland?
