House & Home: Pastel Kitchen Picks

Smeg Jug Kettle  | Lakeland Mason Measuring Cups | George Home Silicone Loaf Pan | Smeg Stand Mixer

It’s been a while, but I’m finally here to share a House & Home post. Since Easter I’ve noticed a lot of pastel collections popping up in my favourite homeware shops. I like to invest in quality kitchen accessories and it’s even better when they come in pastel shades. I’ve pulled together 4 items which I’ve currently got my eye on. I hope that this post will give you a little spring inspiration for your home.

First off I’m loving the new kitchen accessories collection from Smeg. I’m a long-term fan of the brand and have used their appliances on and off over the years. The new collection consists of a kettle, stand mixer, blender and toaster. Each item is beautifully designed with a retro 50s feel. They’re available in 4 pastel shades as well as black, red and chrome.

Next up we have a very cute set of measuring cups from good old Lakeland. At the moment I’m really into using cup measurements when I’m baking, it’s simply much quicker. I find so many useful kitchen accessories in Lakeland and of course, they have the best tools for baking. I think that these measuring cups would make for a pretty decoration as well as being useful.

Finally, I found this cute loaf tin over at George. It’s probably about time I added a loaf tin to my baking collection as I often make banana bread. George offer some fantastic kitchen accessories, especially in terms of bakeware. They come in at a very affordable price which makes it easy to treat yourself every now and then. This silicone loaf tin comes in a variety of shades, I personally like this pistachio one. Silicone bakeware is usually very easy to clean which makes washing up much quicker.

Are you a fan of pastel homeware or do you like to keep things classic?
