My soft blue and pink wishlist

I have such a soft spot for pastel shades at the moment, especially blue and pink. I’ve realised that black doesn’t suit me as much as lighter shades do. I want to focus on buying quality clothes that suit me throughout 2016. I’ve got rid of a lot of my clothes over the last few months and although I don’t want to replace those items I do aim to create a capsule wardrobe by the end of the year.

Today I’m sharing a selection of soft blues and pinks that I’ve got my eye on at the moment. I want to incorporate pastels throughout the last of the winter months and then they will flow naturally into spring.

Over on the Paulie Clothing website they have a delightful collection of women’s designer knitwear. I’ve really taken to this soft blue jumper. I like the relaxed style of the cut and the dropped shoulders mean it would be easy to layer up when the weather is cold. I can picture myself wearing this with skinny jeans throughout winter and spring.

The pink Kate Spade bag would go well with any pastel outfit. I’m a big fan of Kate Spade’s Harmony Tote, I have one in a lovely burgundy shade. It’s a good quality handbag and my go to when I want to look smart but still have a lot to carry. I use a Kate Spade purse at the moment but it would have been rude not to include the sweet little hamster card case. Isn’t it adorable? A card case is handy to use when you’re carrying a smaller bag or popping out to the corner shop.

I had to include this fun phone case form Gary Malin. The collection of cases are created with Gary’s photography and they all have such a happy and colourful feel to them. It’s actually made me want to get some of my own photographs printed onto phone cases.

I also stumbled upon this cute t-shirt from People Tree, another new website to me. I like the simple cut and of course, the stripes. Although I don’t normally pick t-shirts with illustrations on I do like this subtle kitty. The floaty blue skirt from ASOS looks perfect for twirling in. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers wearing midi skirts really well and I’d love to give one a try.

Finally I had to add a pair of The White Company bed socks into this wishlist. I mentioned them the other week and I can’t stop thinking about them. Don’t they look cosy?

Are you a fan of pastel shades during the winter months?
