A fruity dress & Update

I’ve got a busy but exciting week ahead of me. On Friday I’m meeting Sophie from Onetenzeroseven in London where we will be attending the Traverse Conference. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Traverse and I’m looking forward to listening to the talks and meeting lots of new people. Even though I have to push myself out of my comfort zone I do always enjoy going to blogging conferences. Are any of you going to Traverse this weekend?

I will then be taking a much needed trip away with my friend on Monday. We’re going to Portugal for a couple of days, somewhere I’ve never been before. I’ve heard so many lovely things about it and according to my app the weather’s going to be pretty good. I’ll be documenting my time there over on Instagram Stories so feel free to have a nosey.

I’ve picked up a couple of new outfits for the trip and I thought I’d share this fruity little number with you today. It was kindly sent over to me by the team at Simply Be along with these awesome sunglasses and these ruffle shoes. I’d never shopped with the brand before so I was interested to find out that they have a really nice collection of clothes which cover sizes from 12 to 32. I was also particularly impressed with their selection of flat shoes. I’ve been on the hunt for some flats for my trip to Portugal and I think these pretty black ones could be just what I need.

I thought this dress was covered in lemons when I ordered it but it turns out that they’re oranges. I like that this dress has 3 quarter length sleeves. It means I don’t have to team it with a cardigan and it has the cute rushed detail on the sleeves. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable making it ideal for both a day time adventure and an evening out.

I’m really into dresses and handbags with a fruity theme at the moment. I’ve got my eye on this beauty from Kate Spade and of course, Sophie sells some cute watermelon necklaces.

Thanks to Simply Be for sending over this outfit.
