Say hello to my new Esprit sandals

The shoes I told you about in this post from Esprit arrived whilst I was in New York. I was pleased that they didn’t come before I went because they would be no good for long distance walking. I don’t think many sandals would be good for walking very far in because they are made to look pretty and not to treat your feet well. I was pleased to find that these sandals aren’t totally flat, they have a very slight heel which may mean that they will be a little more comfortable than usual sandals. I will keep you updated on how comfortable they are over the weekend on my Facebook page (it’s much easier to do mini updates and chat on there than dedicating a full post to some things).

As I was taking photos of the shoes I noticed that the buckle strap looked like a heart. I like finding shapes within everyday objects and it often happens when I am spending time looking at things in detail.

I just hope this lovely sunshine we have had today lasts a little longer or at least if it stays dry I can still wear my new shoes. I really shouldn’t say this out loud, but I am sure that autumn is going to be on it’s way faster than we hope. I beg that I am wrong but something tells me it’s going to roll around quite quickly this year and I am already eyeing up brogues. I don’t mind a/w and I enjoying dressing for it but only if we have a good summer. I don’t feel like the UK has had it’s fair share this year, do you? I have been lucky enough to be away in New York and enjoyed a good blast of their hot weather but I know it was raining here when I was gone. I would still like to get a little more good weather during August here before autumn hits us, this way I will be ready to embrace big coats and hats.

    thanks for the comment-fest you had on my blog yesterday, always very much appreciate your views and feedback dude. i don’t think i’d wear pink shorts though, that’s one step too far for even me. it’s not that i don’t think i could wear them it’s more maybe me feeling silly (in my head anyway)

    Such pretty sandals! I would never think to buy them from espirit and these are just wonderful, such a good find! I think autumn is definitely on its’ way..but I’m looking forward to embracing it fully! : )

    Fingers crossed for warm weather next month it’s Corbies birthday, and his having a bouncy castle!
    Love these sandals, they look like they would support your foot nicely and that they are comfy but still pretty x
