I purchased these two pretty colours the other week, one for my for my toe nails in Double Decker Red by Rimmel and the other for my finger nails in Purple Pulse by Rimmel. The double decker red only needs one or two coats but the purple pulse needs about three. I really like both of these colours and will be wearing them throughout AW11. I would like my nails red but I never seem to be able to put red onto my finger nails very well. Maybe I will have to take it next time I get my nails done, you can’t do that can’t you? Actually, has anyone got any tips on ho to apply nail varnish or even any good Youtube videos you could link me to, if so that would be fab! Don’t forget to use a base coat when you are using bright colours like these.

The purple is gorgeous! And totally appreciate your warning at the end about using a base coat. I don’t tend to use a base coat because i’ve been using 17 (by boots) shades for ages and they don’t tend to stain. I bought a few Rimmel shades over the summer and they definitely stained, I must remember to buy a new bottle of base coat soon! xxx
