For the second half of this week I have been wearing Mavala Racing Green, quite different to the bright Rimmel Orange I was wearing for the first half. I wanted to wear Racing Green this week because it’s been a while since I last wore it. This is a nail varnish my mum got me for Christmas. I had been picking it up each time we went into the shop but I never actually purchased it so I was delighted to find it in my stocking at Christmas. This is a lovely deep shade of green though it is more perfect for a/w as opposed to s/s. I am thinking of adding a little summer to it with some glitter or adding some flowers with a nail pen or even a Sharpie.

I really love the picture. I tend to stick to dark nail colours all year round – although I have finally bought some pastel colours this spring.

Cool color! I normally stop wearing dark colors when the weather perks up, but a nicely lacquered deep wine is so hard to resist for me!
