Writing words in the sand..

I love nothing more than pulling on a pair of Converse and walking down to the sea. The weather doesn’t bother me at all. I am actually looking forward to autumn finally arriving so I can wrap up warm and sit with a cup of coffee and read at the beach cafe. A few weeks back I mentioned that autumn was on the way. I was mistaken then, but now I really think it could be landing in the next few days. The leaves are falling from the trees and there is a slight chill in the mornings. Southwold was still full of sunshine this weekend.

The photos below are from when I was at the beach last weekend. It was sunny and I sat reading for a while before walking across the beach and writing my thoughts in the sand. I think Southwold beach is one of the few places where I feel most content. I can almost forget anything that may be bugging me and just get lost watching the sea. I have some photos from today, so keep an eye out for them a little later on.

Later on in the week I wore the same shoes to work and when I kicked them off by my desk sand went everywhere. I really must be more careful with the choice of shoes I use when I go to the beach. I always used to make sure my feet were bare so I could tiptoe in the ice cold water. As I haven’t been wearing leggings or sandals for a while I haven’t had the chance to do this.
