I should have made this post months ago but it was a product that refused to work so I forgot all about it. I don’t know why it’s still knocking about in my make-up box but I decided I’d throw together a quick review before getting rid of it.
I really wanted to like the Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses lip tint from Rimmel and when I first applied it I thought it seemed promising. Sadly, in a a matter of days the pen had dried out and it just wasn’t possible to use. I managed to get it working every now and then by soaking the tip in warm water but that didn’t last for long. For the few times I managed to use it I found that it lasted for a good few hours on my lips but I tended to apply it a few times to ensure the colour stayed vibrant. I really don’t have much to say about this, I just think that you need to avoid spending £5.99 on such a poor product. Rimmel have plenty of other amazing products to pick from – have you used their Apocalips lip lacquer? If not, why not? It’s probably one of my favourite products of 2013 – I reviewed the shade Galaxy here.
Maybe I just had a bad experience with this lip tint but as I’m a big fan of Rimmel I felt really let down. Let me know what you thought of this lip tint or if you have any other suggestion for lip tints that work well.
