I’m really into reading/listening to books at the moment. I mentioned in my post about 4 Biz Books to Propel You To Success that I’m particularly enjoying audiobooks. I love the flexibility of being able to listen to them as I walk to work or workout at the gym. I’m a big reader but don’t always have the time to sit down with a book, unless I’m on a train journey. While I’m keen to take more time to read in the evenings I’m equally embracing the world of audiobooks (I use Audible), it’s just the perfect fit for my current lifestyle.
I thought it would be fun to share a round-up of some of the books I’m looking forward to reading/listening to over the next month or so. The books and audiobooks are all available for pre-order and I hope you find something that catches your eye on the list.
I may not be a mum but I’m a big fan of Vicki and her blog, Honest Mum. Vicki is killing it in the blogging, vlogging and social media world at the moment and is never afraid to give a new social platform a try. I hope I get the chance to have a glass of wine and talk everything blogging and business with Vicki one day.

Crushing It! by Gary Vaynerchuck
I’ve already got my copy from iBooks but I can’t wait to get my hands on the audio version too (it’s currently on pre-order). I think Gary’s books are best consumed by audio so that you can fully appreciate his energy and passion. I’m making my way through my copy and I keep putting it down because I get so inspired to crack on with my business. That’s the kind of book I love.
Crushing It! covers each social media platform and how to get the most out of them to build your personal brand. Gary shares his own thoughts and experiences while drawing from the experience and offering examples of successful people who have or are currently crushing it.
I think we all need a personal brand. I know it sounds a little cheesy but if you can use a social platform to truly demonstrate your passions it can enhance both your career and your confidence. Get yourself a copy or pre-order the Audible version before it is released on 3rd April 2018. Get ready to be fully motivated.

I am so excited to get my hands on 3 Kings. The book will tell the story of the rise of the 3 most influential musicians in America; Diddy, Dr.Dre and Jay-Z.
Hip-hop and business go hand in hand. The 3 kings have not only created successful music careers but have stormed their way into lifestyle businesses. I’ve talked about Diddy’s Ciroc vodka before, it’s an interesting story and one worth hearing. I’m really looking forward to reading about the entrepreneurial spirit within hip hop in 3 Kings. Pre-order the book before it launches on 5th March 2018.
