Baby Bath Time Gift Box For New Mums

To mark the arrival of Baby X I was gifted a Baby Bath Time Gift Box from the lovely team at Intergift.

The mission behind Intergift is to make gifting fresh, easy and magical. I think they’ve done just that.

The gift box arrived just in time for my return from the hospital. It was neatly packaged and stuffed with practical gifts for my darling little baby. I’d had a tiring few days in hospital so it was lovely to have a box of goodies to browse through during feeding time.

Inside the Baby Bath Time Gift Box I found a very cute hooded towel, a Quackers flannel duck and toiletries by Childs Farm.

I liked that the box was themed around bath time. They have lots of other options like the Cuddle Bundle Baby Hamper and the Mum To Be Box but I think this one is particularly useful.

For many babies a bath is a big part of their bedtime routine, even from a very young age (we’re talking weeks). It’s a good way to help them begin to distinguish between night and day. Learning this difference won’t cone for a while but having a consistent routine before bed is a big help.

The hooded towel is made from 100% pure cotton and will come in handy within the first couple of weeks. It’s always good to have a couple of towels ready to go for an emergency bath time. Before X was born I didn’t realise how important it would be to have several bath towels ready to go. There are just so many other things a mum-to-be has to think about.

These hooded towels are particularly nice because you can scoop up your little one and swaddle them straight out of the bath. Babies hate being cold, don’t we all, so a cosy snug towel is a new mum essential.

The cute little flannel duck is a familiar face to use at bath time. It’s perfect for using in the bath.

I was particularly excited by the selection of Childs Farm toiletries. It’s a brand I’ve been aware of for a while because they’re fab for babies sensitive skin.

There are 3 Childs Farm products within this gift box. I’m going to give you a run-down of each one but will be sure to come back with a full product review when we’ve been using them more consistently. All 3 of the products are dermatologist and paediatrician approved for sensitive skin and safe for people who may be prone to eczema.

First up there’s the Baby Wash which is unfragraced and very milld. It’s suitable for newborns and up but you probably won’t find you’ll use it ’til you have the first big poop explosion.

We’ve only used this a couple of times on Xander but he hasn’t had any reactions to it. I’m very careful with what I use on him due to my own sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

Next there’s the Baby Moisturiser. This is very mildly fragranced and is perfect for hydrating the delicate skin of babies.

The third and final product is the Nappy Cream. It contains aloe vera, cocoa butter and shea butter which are all perfect for looking after little bottoms. This has been a real winner in our house.

As a new mum I think this hamper is a really lovely gift to receive. It contains everything you need to make bath time fun and relaxing for your little bundle of joy.
