Alva Coleur : Organic baked foundation powder
£16.60
I don’t normally wear foundation, from time to time I like to try something new and this is why I went for the powder Alva foundation. I read a review which said it gave a light covering and a little shimmer. Ok, so maybe the shimmer sucked me in and I am glad it did ! This is lovely, I went for the medium shade in this foundation and it is perfect. I have been using it every other day and have been keeping it in my bag!
Usually powder can dry out your skin, I am happy to say that this Alva foundation does not dry the skin!
A light shimmer and soft colour is what this will give you, if you want more of a cover then simply apply it a few times with your brush ! I don’t like to have too much of a cover so I keep it nice and easy with a quick dust before I dash out of the house.
There is a good sized mirror which comes inside the box, a really good sized and useful when applying your face on the train…Under the foundation is a small section to keep a powder puff.
I will continue to use this and I am really glad I have finally tested out the Alva range and can’t wait to try out more of it from Mypure.
xx

a powder that doesnt dry out your skin?! that sounds like a winner
Ooooh this foundation does indeed look nice! Such a helpful review 🙂 I am rubbish at using foundation and have the same fear that it will dry out my skin! Plus sometimes I get scared of having the powder on my clothes!
I shall search for Alva at my boots – is it available online and/or in shops? x
Oh my. You guys have the best brands it seems! I always find myself jealous and wishing there was more competition in products here so they would actually make new, good stuff haha.
