Beauty: Living Nature Eye Products

I was very kindly sent a selection of products from Living Nature at the start of summer and because of moving apartment, city and work I never got around to telling you about them. However, today I’m going to share my thoughts with you.

Living Nature only use 100% natural ingredients, preservatives and fragrances in their products. They also don’t test on animals.

First off, this Thickening Blackened Brown mascara has been one of my favourites over the last few months. I think it’s now coming to an end but I’m keen to repurchase it (I’ve used this brand of mascara on and off since I was living in Southwold). This is the type of mascara which is easy to build upon for a simple day look or a smokey eye. A simple swipe of the brush across your eyes will do the trick, and you’ll instantly look more awake on a cold morning but I tend to put two layers on. If you want to go for a more dramatic look then apply it three times, with a pause between each layer.

I’ve not suffered from any clumping it flaking bits on my lashes which is why it has been one of my go to mascaras since the summer. Oh, I also like that this is really easy to remove.

Next up is the Midnight eyeliner. During the summer I wore this eyeliner alone most of the time and used my finger to smudge it out a bit. I then moved to a new city and managed to misplace it but I finally found it at the weekend (part of the reason I can now share this post) and have quickly got back into the swing of using it. It’s very easy to apply and has a gentle and smooth application because of the vegetable waxes.

Finally I tried the eyeshadow in Slate. This is an ideal shade to keep as part of a smoky eye kit. If you’re like me and prefer to follow a tutorial when you’re doing a smokey eye look then Living Nature have put one together. You really only need a small amount of product because it goes a long way. To really intensify the look it’s suggested that you apply it wet but I’ve been using it on its own.

Have you ever used any products from Living Nature?
