Introducing my beautiful new JORD Watch.
Isn’t it pretty? It was kindly sent to me from the team at JORD. I’ve been wearing it for just under 4 weeks so I think it’s about time to share my thoughts with you.
The watch arrived beautifully packaged in a neat wooden box. I slid the lid off straight away and found my new wooden watch comfortably nestled inside.
The first thing I noticed when I slid the watch onto my wrist was just how lightweight it is. It has a secure clasp that clicks into place with ease and can be done with one hand. It’s also quick and easy to pinch and undo the clasp. I’ve found the watch very comfortable to wear, it’s almost like I’m not wearing one.
I picked out a fairly neutral watch so that it would go with all of my outfits. JORD have some wooden watches with brightly coloured faces which are fab but I’m very happy with my Zebrawood watch. This watch is from the Feildcrest series and it also comes in Maple or Dark Sandalwood.
The Zebrawood gives a very interesting contrast of light and dark grain. I adore the simple yet chic design and it has a clear and easy-to-read face. I think it’s always important to be able to glance at your watch and read the time quickly. You don’t want a watch face that has too much going on.
The style of JORD watches are truly timeless. They go with lots of different styles, look good throughout the seasons and in my opinion, many of the styles are unisex, especially this one. Phil and I are always sharing accessories so this is ideal. Normally with a unisex watch they can be a little too over-sized for my liking but I think JORD have got it right with this one. It’s a little larger than a regular ladies style but isn’t too chunky.
I was a little worried about picking out a watch in the right size but JORD made it very easy. I printed out their tape measure, wrapped it ’round my wrist and selected my size. I was a little cautious and got it a little bigger than I needed, just in case. It was easy to pop into my local shop and have a couple of links taken out though.
So far this lovely watch has been to Sheffield, Berlin, Paris and Cambridge. It’s always getting lots of compliments and I like being able to tell everyone that the quality is excellent. I like to spend my hard earned money on good quality practical items and experiences. For me, it’s important to save and spend a little more to have something I really like and know will last. JORD is a brand I’ll be sure to keep in mind for future gifts, especially as the festive season is quickly approaching.
