A’kin Rose Mist

Hello all !

I have been away for a few days, I just got back about half an hour ago and as my Blackberry has broke ( not pleased at all ) the first thing I had to do was to get the computer. So my night is going to be filled with checking emails, blogs, playing my friends Mflows to get up to date on the music I have missed and of course have a lovely brew!

I always spend a long time when deciding if I will or will not review a product for a company. If I do, I want to make sure it is something that not only I am interested in but also something which my lovely readers ( I spy a few new ones hello to you all! ) will have an interest and benefit in knowing about, otherwise there is no point is there!

I found out over Twitter that http://www.blogger.com/www.mypure.co.uk were on the search for bloggers to review some products. I did a little research into what they sold and decided that I could maybe be a good blogger to review the goodies they had planned to send out ! I decided I may be a “good blogger” for them as my skin can go crazy very easily, it gets dry all the time ( gutted ) and I know that a few readers on PrettyGreenTea have similar issues and it is of course always good to read a good and honest review.

Well anyway, I shall stop banging on about it all and tell you about one of three products I was sent by Mypure the other week.

The product we are looking at is – A’kin Rose Mist – and well the first thing I shall say is that it smells very pretty , who aint going to like the smell of roses ?!? Well I adore the smell of a rose so this is just perfect for me.

What is in it ?
Well it is made from beautiful, pretty and organic goodness – “Australian Bush Flower Essences, old man banksia, dog rose and tall mulla mulla are used in this mist as well as aloe barbadensis leaf juice to calm skin, and vitamins B5 to soothe skin”

This is worth knowing:
“Akin Hydrating Rose Mist is formulated using sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), one of the latest discoveries in natural skin care. Sodium hyaluronate is a key water maintaining component in our skin. Modern living and ageing can cause a decrease in this vital skin boosting ingredient, and as a result the water maintaining ability of the skin is weakened”

Why do I love it ?
You can spray Rose Mist all over your body including your face to tone and moisturise your skin. Oh and trust me, it does just that! I was unsure if I was going to try it out on my face as I did not fancy walking around with a sore face the next day if it all went a bit wrong…..Before bed I gave it a go, *squirt, squirt* ahhh just lovely and guess what ?! My face was just fine and I have used it on my face and body since.
It was very useful in the car this weekend (everyone else stole it from me to use of course) as I am sure you know your skin can get a little dehydrated ! Oh it is a very handy size too and can pop into your handbag, which is where mine is right now.

A bottle of A’kin Rose Mist is £12.99 for 125ml which I think is a little high for the regular student / blogger / part time worker. For those of you working full time I think this will be more in your price range. However, It lasts…and lasts. I ( and my mum ) have not stopped using this since it arrived on my doorstep and I have so much left. I will keep you updated on how long it lasts ! This would make a lovely present and it is one to pop on the wish list or birthday list !
After that little babble… do I think it is worth the price ?
I am going to say Yes… but only if you can afford it of course. 🙂

Rose Mist is ideal for:

Keeping in your handbag – refresh your make up during work !

When travelling – It will sort you out in humid or hot dry climates !

Keep it at hand while you are at the gym – to give your skin a bit of life and cool you down ! – I have been using it straight after a jog on the running machine.

Treat your mum, a sister or a friend – I will have to get a bottle for my mum as soon as pay day is here !

If my auntie P is reading this – I think you would really like it !
