Manchester Midnight Walk

Every year St.Ann’s Hospice have a direct impact on the lives of over 3,000 people in the Greater Manchester area – in the hospice, in the community and in their homes.
“To do this we need to raise £16,000 every day to keep our doors open. For every £1 we fundraise, 92p is spent directly on patient care and the services that support it”.

Having spent 4 years in Manchester studying I have read abou various fantastic stories and fundraising events that St.Ann’s Hospice have held… I think it s time I did my bit, I like fundraising for all kinds of events and it can be even more special when it is a little closers to home !

I am going to sign up for the Manchester Midnight Walk !
It is the 4th time that St.Ann’s Hospice have done this, I think it is time I took part this year !

It is a 10km
fun walk around Manchester city centre ( lets hope it wont rain ) and it starts
at midnight on Friday 2nd July 2010.

“In the last 3 years, over 6,000 people have taken part in one of the city’s most exciting night time challenges and walkers have raised nearly £500,000 gross for St Ann’s Hospice”

* An evening of entertainment with live bands and warm up acts !

* A 10km walk around Manchester city centre starting at midnight from Manchester Central !
