Interesting question. At first I was shocked you were debating Starbucks (as I know we both drink there) but I do see your point. Personally I love Starbucks and I kind’ve agree with Eda’s comment…nowhere else does coffee quite like Starbucks and I’ve tried countless coffee shops.
However, there’s a little coffee van that parks outside my uni and they do AMAZING coffee. I always buy coffee from them rather than the coffee shop inside, even though the van is a little more expensive and the indoor shop is more convenient, but I’d rather support the independent people than the chain.
I’m not sure what I’d do if a Starbucks opened up local to my uni…
It’s a tricky one.
