I told you I have lots and lots of interests didn’t I ? It’s not just fashion, photography and music that makes me smile. I love brands, advertising and marketing and hope to work within the industry one day, I play computer games (Xbox and Nintendo DS), I try to learn something new each day, I read books related to fashion, business, psychology and many more topics… and there is so much more I could write here but I think I would end up boring you.
I think if you ever find yourself “bored” then do something about it, there is so much to do in life that there is no time to be bored. Pick up a book, magazine or try to find out what else you could be interested in.. so many people say they don’t have hobbies and I find that really sad. Put some time to one side or when you feel bored or are knocking about on Facebook for too long and try to figure out what you may be interested in. I think we find out more about ourselves and about what we love at different stages of our lives, embrace change and try new things. At school you can hold back on what you enjoying doing because it can be seen as out of the norm. If you are in a situation where you don’t listen to music you like or don’t read books because it’s not cool then I say you change that right now. Be you because you will kick yourself in the future for not getting involved with what you love, getting onto developing your interesting and finding out about all the different crazy things this world has on offer to you.
So tell me, what are your favourite hobbies, what are your interests and what do you do in your free time?!

very wise words, so true. we sound like we would get along in “real life” you know. i am guilty of not reading enough but i do love a flick through my books, the heavy ones not so much but they are sometimes the best. i have 2 massive dali books which kicked off my love of surrealism (well my visit to the museum in american really started it). and i’m really into architecture and just design in general really. anything with an interesting design i’m on it, stationary, fonts, layouts, buildings, countries. it’s all ace to me, what ever pleases my eye is my hobby and it makes me very happy. seriously though the main ones are art/design, keeping fit, cooking, advertising, reading. now fashion/clothing is not the hobby but your lifestyle ends up dictating what you dress like, i think so anyways.
that is quite the multitasking session. Whenever I am bored I go straight for a book. Currently reading the Game of Thrones series (so flipping good)
I love this post. I love that you want to work on things that you really want to accomplish. It is true. If you have so much things to do, then there’s no harm in multitasking just as long as you don’t sacrifice its quality. If you get bored, don’t just bum around. Start doing something. In fact, start doing something that you have never done before. Who knows? This thing that you thought you won’t ever do is something that you will love! 🙂
We are kind of in the same page when you said that when you have the day / night off and you have so much stuff to do, you try to fit it in your schedule. So do I! 🙂 Even if it means that I will be sleeping very early in the morning. I have this feeling of fulfilment every time I go to bed and I have accomplished something.
