I went for a long walking a while back ( shock horror ) and spotted this open garage, I couldn’t help but take a quick photos because it looked so perfect. I can imagine that the bicycle with the basket is used on a daily basis, whoever owns it probably cycles to the nearest shop to pick up groceries and then comes home to make a lovely soup. I also think that the people this garage belongs to are very hands on, I can image they do lots of DIY projects and live quite a lovely life. I really want a pretty bike with a wicker basket, my bike has a wire one but it’s not quite the same.

I don’t have a bike, as Brighton is so compact I walk everywhere (and I live on a main road with nowhere to keep a bike!) but I did I would have a basket on it, with some fabric flowers (and/or battery operated fairy lights) round it. my bike is vintage. hubs resued it from the local tip years ago…before vintage bikes were ‘fashionable’ i have a big wicher basket with a garland of flowers i’ve zip tied around it 🙂
I just bought my niece an old bike from ebay for xmas and we’ve polished it up, put a wicker basket on and it looks great! esp with the garland of daisys i’ve zip tied to the frame! ha! Cant wait to blog abut it after xmas whe she’s got it :)x
