I think a statement shirt looks good alone with jeans or peeping out from under a jumper. Not only is this something boys can wear but also us girls too. A quirky shirt can look fab tucked into a plain skirt or under a dress. You should never be afraid of checking out the mens sections in vintage or charity shops because that is where you can find some fantastic shirts from the 60’s and 70’s with unusual prints.
There is a website I often visit called Hawaiian Shirt Shop which sells some cheesy and some very cool shirts. I have fallen for the Gateway to Hawaii shirt because it would go perfectly well with black jeans or a dark skirt and makes me think about adventures I want to go on. The second shirt I fell for on the website is The African Kingdom. I hope to go on a safari one day but for now incorporating this very loud shirt into an outfit will do me just fine.
