Aussie Volume & Conditioning Mousse

IMG_5361
I’m in the process of using up empty products before moving onto new ones. Over the last few months I’ve left my hair to do it’s own thing. I’ve been getting bored with my hair lately and was pleased to find a bottle of mousse that needed using up.

A few years back the Aussie Volume mousse was my go to product. Mousse is very easy to use and can give your hair a little kick if you don’t have much time to play around with it before work or college. I simply tip my head upside down, scrunch a handful into the roots and then blow dry my hair.

I’ve been using this Aussie mousse over the last 2 weeks but it doesn’t seem to be as good as it used to be. However, I think that’s because my hair is now much longer and thicker than it used to be. The mousse does a pretty good job at adding volume to my hair but it only seems to last for a few hours, which isn’t really good enough. I had much shorter hair when I used it a few years back and the staying power seemed to work better.

I’ve changed from using the mousse in the roots of my hair to the ends. It works well to add shine and enhances any natural curls and kinks I have.

I don’t think I’ll be buying this mousse again because I think I can find something that will suit my hair type better. It’s not an awful product but it’s just not outstanding. Using the Aussie mousse has made me really want to get a bottle of the Aussie Volume Spray, that stuff is brilliant. Have you used it?
