Last Sunday we finally had the chance to get out of the centre of Sheffield and go for a long walk. We took the train from Sheffield to Bamford and went to see Ladybower reservoir. It was a very interesting and creepy experience. You can probably see from the photos that the plughole of the reservoir is rather overwhelming and if you’re keen to see it in action check out my video on Instagram.

The day was very misty and foggy so I didn’t manage to get any amazing photos, but these photos capture how it felt at the time. I was more than happy to get out and about with my camera and hope to have the chance to do it more often over the next few months. I’d like to continue improving upon my photography skills this year. I hope you enjoy the selection of photographs I’ve pulled together from the day. I’ve got a few more over on Flickr but I’m saving them for another post all about nature and colour.
