These beauties are not dairy free. Sorry! But, I’ve decided that I simply must tell you about them here on Prettygreentea. I love sharing new finds with you. Although I’m pretty certain that I’m late to the game with this one, I still think it’s worth a share.
Phil loves Crosstown Donuts and picked up a couple on our last trip into London. There were quite a few flavours on offer such as; Glazed Cinnamon Scroll, Lamnut, Chai and many more. The Matcha one turned out to be his favourite.
These aren’t just any doughnuts though. These are sourdough doughnuts and have a more bread-like texture than regular donuts. The Crosstown team also make their own fillings, glazes, toppings and jams in-house.
Crosstown started as a market stall on Leather Lane back in 2014 and have grown quickly over the years. They now have a bakery in Clapham where they make fresh doughnuts every day. They also have shops and cute little trucks dotted all around the city. You can find them at Broadway Market, Leather Lane Market, Real Food Market at Kings Cross, Spitalfields Market, Camden Market, Brick Lane and Soho. Make sure you check out the full list on their site and the times/days they’re open.
So, if you’re in London and haven’t yet had the chance to try Crosstown Doughnuts then you must change that.
