June Moments 2018

I can’t believe I’m so late sharing my June Moments. I’ve already got July ready and it won’t be long ’til I’m sharing August. I really enjoy putting together these types of posts, they’re fun to look back on as the years go by. I have similar posts from years gone by and it’s such a nice way of storing away memories.

Anyway, here are a few phone snaps from the month of June. It was a month filled with lots of fun days out, a trip to Lille and lots of delicious food.

Ethical fashion Manc

Gemma and I went along to the Know The Origin pop-up at Beaumont Organic in Manchester. It was really interesting to discover a few new ethical brands and learn more about the world of sustainability. I’m mindful when I shop and focus on buying less but better quality items. I do have an interest in sustainable and ethical brands so it was good to discover some new independent brands.

Manchester

Beaumont Organic is such a lovely little shop. They’re an ethical ladieswear brand and launch 2 collections each year alongside accessories.

Oisoi Sheffield Dim Sum

Oisoi Dim Sum

Phil and I finally had the chance to go back to Oisoi this month. We always enjoy their dim sum, the staff are really friendly and the decor is stunning. I’ve heard they do amazing cocktails too. Have you been?

Beetroot Cupcakes

I worked with White’s Oats to create these Chocolate Beetroot Cupcakes. I love working with brands I like to make tasty recipes.

Cocktail at wagon in sheffield

Phil and I had cocktails at Wagon. Wagon is just across the road from Sheffield train station. It’s one of our favourite spots for lunch, dinner, coffee and of course, cocktails. It has such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are really friendly.

Greemhead Park

My mum and I went to visit my grandma in Huddersfield and stopped by Greenhead Park.

Turkish Food Huddwesfield

A tasty Turkish meal in Huddersfield at Apadana.

Home Sweet Home

More food! On this day Phil and I met up with D and K in Manchester. We had this delicious pulled pork plate on top of sweet potato fries. It was so good and fantastic to finally meet up with them again.

Lille France

June was the month that L and I headed to Lille for a few days. You can see more snaps in Postcards from Lille.

New mattress

I finally started using my lovely Leesa mattress which I can’t wait to tell you about this week. I put my good sleep routine down to this mattress. If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that I often have problems sleeping but they’ve really improved with the arrival of this new mattress and a proper evening routine.

New Pastel Blue Chairs

Delicious watermelon from Ozmen in Sheffield. It’s one of the best places to stock up on fruit but if you’re looking for good grapes you can’t beat the ones from M&S.

Pom Kitchen Sheffield

This was a cute pink beetroot latte from Pom Kitchen in Sheffield. They serve up Aussie inspired vegetarian and vegan food.

Pom kitchen

A vegan plate of colourful food from Pom.

View of Sheffield

A sunny day in Sheffield. We’ve had some lovely weather over the last few months. I hope it lasts a little longer.

Whisky and lunch in Sheffield

Whisky and lunch with Lottie is always a good idea. We stopped at The Broadfield to catch up over fish and chips and whisky cocktails.

I hope you all had a fantastic June. It’ll just be a couple of days ’til I’m back to share some snaps from July.
