Back in summer I mentioned that I was in a bit of style rut (again) but found my flow with shirred dresses. I still love a shirred dress and have been wearing them with thermals underneath. However, it’s getting a bit too cold now and they have a really summery vibe. So, I think it’s time I set my shirred dresses aside and switch to something a little more weather appropriate.
I love a dress with full or three quarter length sleeves. Smock dresses are my favourite right now. They’re perfect for wearing day to day and very comfortable for running around after a toddler.
Today I’m sharing 5 smock dresses that have caught my eye in the last couple of days. Now I just need to put myself first and make an order.
Portland Flowers Printed Smock Dress – Cath Kidston are really upping their game since moving to online only. They seem to have a bigger range of stock, especially when it comes to clothes.
Pembridge Ditsy Printed Smock Dress – Another Cath Kidston dress and again, it does have quite a summery feel to it but I think it’s cheerful and very easy to dress up or down.
Hush Gael Button Through Smock Dress, Khaki/Tortoiseshell – This is exactly the kind of dress I’m looking for. I’ve never ordered anything from Hush but they have some gorgeous dresses in the sale at the moment.
Hush Dahlia V-Neck Dress, Black – I’m also very tempted to order this one from Hush. It’s simple but would look perfect with long black boots and layered up with a big scarf.
Black Crochet Collar Tiered Smock Dress – I’m mostly sharing this for the Wednesday Addams vibes.
