What I wore: January 7th 2012

Today I went out for a very long walk on the beach, it’s one of my favourite things to do. I am trying to make the most of living by the seaside, you really have to explore the area you live in. I know so many people who take no notice of where they live, they drink coffee in the same place all the time and never try anywhere new. I think you have to truly find all the hidden places your town or city has to offer, as i always say .. embrace change.
Before we left for the beach.

Colour inspiration from the day : nudes and dark greens.

You all know I love a good reflection.
Hi mum !

This photo makes me want to be walking bare foot across the pebbles and even maybe dipping my toes into the sea, I think it might be a little too cold at the moment though.

I really like seeing people in their tents fishing on Southwold beach, they make for very good photos too.

When you are in Southwold with a camera this is one shot everyone takes. I really liked the lighting so thought I would take a quick snap, I think I have about 100 photos like this.

A few little friends I made today.

What I wore: Beret – H&M, Scarf – Burberry, Coat – Topshop
I hope you all had a lovely Saturday, I have spent the evening watching Idiot Abroad 2, working on the blog and updating my photo of the day. I think tomorrow I am going to go out to the beach again and then do some sorting in my bedroom.
What are your plans for Sunday ?
xx

Gorgeous photos, I love the beach, no matter what temperature. Not really doing much today, just relaxing. And laundry…Sunday’s are usually laundry days for me haha. 🙂

Gorgeous pictures! And I couldn’t agree more! I think we all tend to walk around with blinkers on not actually seeing all the nice things around us 🙂

Its strange cos sometimes I’ll see tourists here in Belfast and it gets me thinking that there are thousands of awesome places to visit but because they’re right in my back yard I never actually get round to it.

Nothing beats a nice Sunday walk (though thanks to have 2 dogs I dont get to go a single day without going walkies!) You’re so lucky to have the beach on your doorstep! ♥

  3. I love your blog so much! Your photography is awesome, and your beret is just stunning – I love that flecked, heathered grey – it’s my fave right now.

    I’ll definitely be coming back!
