I think we all remember this delightful navy and red coat. It’s the one which Zooey Deschanel wore in the film Yes Man. After a lot of research I discovered that this was a vintage coat which was pimped up a little for the film. I’m now editing this post a few years later and it’s still the type of coat I always keep an eye out for.
I’ll always love navy and red as a colour combo. They’re true classic colours which never go out of fashion. I thought it would be fun to jump back into this post and share a selection of navy and red coats which are available at the moment. As always, my favourites are the most expensive and as it stands, most of my disposable income goes into my businesses. That doesn’t stop me from adding them to my Wishlist though.
that coat is lovely… i think it’s early enough in the season that it won’t become ubiquitous, they roll out the super-wide-selling pieces at the start of october really xxx

Think of all the times you’ll wear it! Think of Christmas shopping and walking in the snow and rainy days with boots! It looks so vintage that it’ll always look great and it looks warm yet lightweight.
I think you should absolutely buy it. Right now!

I love that coat! And don’t worry about your dads response, all dads are mad i think. When i got my hair cur short for the first time mine said “Ohh i really like it, it looks like John Lennons” :/ haha but to him that was the biggest compliment 🙂

I am going to be heavily pregnant and have been given a navy double breasted coat to see me through this winter, and I have red ricrac and some gorgous told stool buttons to make my own version of the gorgeous coat from Yes Man! and it must be nice as evenmy husband commented on that coat while watching the film 🙂
