A girl named Autumn..

If you follow me on Instagram (prettygreentea) or Twitter (@prettygreentea) then you will have seen that I was in Next today trying on some clothes. I have been stocking up on some clothes for autumn, I gave so much away when I moved that I realised I don’t have many chunky knits or autumn shades now. I seem to have quickly changed that over the past few days, you may have seen the results of my trip to Norwich on Youtube.
I decided I would get this dress and jumper from Next, along with a scarf and a few pairs of tights. Next have some really lovely things in stock at the moment, they have really stepped their game up. Each time I go in their collection just seems to get better. I think that autumn/winter clothes is really what they do best, so do make sure you check out what they have. There are so many jumpers and warm chunky knits that I love, the quality is fab too and as always they have some nice shoes in stock and plenty of pretty accessories.

This jumper was £30.00 which you can see here, it is the Ochre Swing Sweater and has a pretty button detail on the shoulder. There was another colour in this top which if you click on the last link and change the colour to the Rust then you can see it, it is a really lovely colour and I really hope I can get it soon. I also am very tempted to go back and get this lambswool stripe sweater.

The dress was £26.00, I really like the colour but felt that if I wore it without a jumper over the pattern would be a bit too much for me. I plan to wear it with different knits to break up the pattern a little. It is a really nice fit and a style I will be keeping an eye out for more of. My spotty dress from Next is also of the same style but a little shorter, this one is a fab length for winter because you don’t want a short dress during the windy months in England.

I spent ages on the website trying to find a link to this dress but I had no luck, if anyone is interested I can send you the product code.

My fox scarf is fantastic and I am very happy with it. It really is a classic scarf and holds all the perfect autumn colours that I like. I think this will be a long standing scarf within my winter outfits over the next few years, I am tempted to also get the horse print scarf. There was no link (which I could find) to the fox scarf, but it was £14.00 and I can give you the product code for this if you need it.

I feel like autumn in this outfit, the colours are my favourite for this time of year. I wore it out this afternoon with my brown Topshop coat, booties and a bag from Next which I got about 6 months back. I took a very quick blurry snap before I dashed out of the front door. I think I will spend some time sorting out my clothes tonight and organise what I now have for AW11.

So there you have it, my three new pieces from Next, I would show you the tights but I feel I shall wait and see if they fall down or not and do a little review for you.

What colours are you wearing this winter?
