I used this
recipe to make soem Gingerbread biscuits, I only had black treacle at home which is why my biscuits turned out dark than the usual ones. You must remember that if you don’t like something in a recipe then you can just change it, I think it’s always good to keep that in mind. Another baking/cooking tip is one from my dad, don’t stick too tightly too the recipe, experiment and have some fun.

I also used a variety of cutters, I don’t have a gingerbread family one so I stuck with flowers. I really had fun making these and I hope that it gets me back into baking. Sometimes you need some motivation to start baking but once you are in the habit of doing it all is good.
