I was in New York 6 months ago. I spent a few weeks in the hot sun visiting my friend D. On my return I started to blog about my trip but quickly fell behind because I had started a new job. I finally got round to going through my photos over Christmas and am ready to share some more New York stories with you.
When D had his first day off we went to The High Line. The High Line is a public park located on Manhattan’s West Side, on top of an old freight railway. It was a very hot day when we went for our walk, almost too hot to be walking in. We managed to keep hydrated with bottles of water and pots of flavoured ice from people’s pops. If you go during the summer months then you must remember to take your hat, there isn’t any shade on The High Line. After our walk we made our way towards Brooklyn – I will tell you more about this in my next travel post.

I’ve always wanted to visit new york! It’s on my lists of things to do this year. I love these photos, really nice 🙂

Love the pics. You know me I love bit of art, but also the contrast of concrete jungle to open space to beauty.
