Crabtree & Evelyn – Jojoba Oil*

Today I want to talk about the Crabtree & Evelyn Jojoba Oil Hand and Cuticle cream. Have you ever tried anything from them? My mum is a big fan of them, so I’ve tried lots of their products over the years, but this was my first time with Jojoba Oil. I’ve been using it on and off over the last few months and as the tube is nearly empty I thought I would share my thoughts with you.

Firstly, the scent. This hand cream is a lovely blend of lavender and green herbs with just a hint of citrus. I really like it because it’s very light, fresh and not too overpowering. The cream contains sweet almond and golden jojoba oil to help moisturise the skin.

We all spend a lot of time typing away on our laptops. You’ll be pleased to hear that this cream wont leave your hands greasy and sticky. It’s ideal to keep in your handbag or by your desk.

I tend to have a habit of neglecting my nails. Not because I don’t want them to look nice, but more because I don’t know what to do, or at least, I didn’t. I’m trying to make more of an effort now to keep my nails and hands well loved so I was pleased to have the 2 in 1 benefit of this hand cream. Having a cream which not only keeps your skin soft and hydrated but also works to condition your cuticles makes things a lot easier. Especially if you’re pretty lazy at using a separate product to do the job, like me.

I often review very thick hand creams so I should point out that this has a particularly light consistency. I’d say that it’s ideal for those of you with normal skin/slightly dry skin. It’s something I would suggest treating yourself to when spring and summer rolls ’round.

I would suggest avoiding this hand cream if your hands are chapped, it can make them sting a little. Once they’re back to normal then you should give this a go because it works well to keep hands soft and smooth.

If your hands are very dry then you might want to give their Gardeners Hand Therapy a try, it’s brilliant for hands that need a little extra care and attention.
