Christmas tree shelves | Sweetie plates

I’ve picked out some of my favourite festive homeware items which I think have staying power. I’m not a fan of jumping onto interior trends, unless I think they’ll fit in with my long-term style. So, when I invest in items for the holidays I like to ensure that I can use them year after year.

I really love the Cox & Cox website. They have such a pretty curation of products which are all photographed and styled beautifully. This Christmas tree shelf is a real beauty. It was the first thing I spotted on the website. It’s a classic and simple style which allows you to bring the festive fun into your home without going over the top.

The Christmas tree sweetie plates are another favourite from the Cox & Cox website. These are the types of things you can pull out every year and serve up sweet and tasty treats for visitors. They’d also be handy to store rings and bracelets. They’re such a simple style and these are both decorative and useful to use over the years.

The copper string lights are from Oliver Bonas, a very good place to find beautiful homeware and gifts. These lights are simple and dainty but versatile. You can wrap them around furniture, the gold star wreath, desk accessories or simply bundle them into an old jam jar.

Finally we have the gold star wreath from John Lewis. Stars not only work well at Christmas but can be used throughout the year too. Gold also helps to bring warmth and a cosy feeling into your home during the winter months. I like the idea of using the copper string lights with this wreath. I think it will give a festive and warming touch to a living room or entry way of a home.
