New In Favourites At Cath Kidston

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Cath Kidston. I have bedding, kitchen accessories, handbags, dresses and more from various collections over the years. One of my favourite prints has got to be the mushroom print from a couple of years ago. I’m still annoyed that I didn’t get ’round to picking up the breakfast bowls from that collection. If you ever see them anywhere then please let me know. I can confirm that everything I’ve had from Cath Kidston has been very good quality. I have dresses and PJs which I’ve had for a good few years now.

I was in Cambridge last week and made my usual visit to the shop. You might have seen me talking about these fantastic PJs over on Instagram Stories. I seem to have a thing for lobster prints at the moment and this has got to be one of my favourites. I thought I would share a few more bits from the new collection with you today, just incase you haven’t had chance to have a browse. I haven’t picked anything up just yet but I’m set on getting my hands on a few new pieces for spring.

Daisies & Roses Shirt Dress | River Fish Ceramic Pot | Lobster PJ Bottoms | Duck Pond Skirt | Broderie Anglaise Dress

Daisies & Roses Shirt Dress – I really like wearing shirt dresses throughout spring and summer and this floral one is perfect. I particularly like that it has short sleeves, I’m not keen on dresses without a sleeve. I’m also quite short so I was pleased to see that the slip underneath has adjustable straps.

River Fish Ceramic Pot – This pot reminds me of an Orla Kiely one my sister got for me last year. I think it will go really well in my bathroom or maybe even on my dressing table. Although I don’t live by the sea any more I still have a thing for coastal themed homeware.

Lobster PJ Bottoms – We’ve already discussed these fantastic pyjama trousers. There’s also a t-shirt to match and I’ve been doing that thing where you imagine yourself wearing something before you actually get ’round to buying them. Please tell me I’m not alone in this? I think these would be cool yet cosy and ideal for relaxing with a big cup of tea before bed. They’re wide legged pjs so they’ll be good for when the weather starts to warm up.

Duck Pond Skirt – Cath Kidston skirts make getting ready in the morning so easy. If I need to leave the house quickly I’ll pull one on with a plain t-shirt and a pair of white Converse. A simple outfit which still creates a talking point because of the fun prints. This Duck Pond skirt is no different, it has a sweet print and of course, pockets. Who doesn’t love pockets on a skirt or dress?

Broderie Anglaise Dress – Finally we have this beauty of a dress. I love wearing white dresses throughout spring and summer, actually I tend to wear them throughout the year. A simple white dress is so easy to style and I particularly like the pleated detailing on this one. I haven’t had chance to try this on yet so I’m not sure if it will be too long for me. I’ll report back.
