I like to shop mindfully.
I won’t buy something just because it’s on sale. That’s the way you can end up with lots of clutter and things you don’t really need.
It’s best to go into the sales knowing what you want. Be strategic, shop online where possible and of course, only buy what you need.
In previous years I haven’t been too bothered about Black Friday. However, this time last year I was pregnant and knew exactly what I wanted to keep and eye out for. This year I have a few more baby bits I’m hoping to pick up like nursery furniture (we’ve got this ordered) and baby thermals.
Today I’m sharing some brilliant Black Friday baby deals with you. I’ve linked to some of my favourite sites with good deals and a couple of specific products too.
Black Friday Baby Discounts
Mothercare has lots of deals on pushchairs, car seats, cots and more. The Next 2 Me crib is well reduced (now £123.50) and although we didn’t have one I think we will next time.
Mamas and Papas – up to 50% off. We have this activity snug and tray for X at my parents place and it’s been so good. He sits in it to play and then the activity set can be removed so he can eat his dinner.
We have both a Google Home (only £19 now!) and an Amazon Echo Dot – £22. They’ve both been so useful, even more so since having a baby. I like being able to play music and white noise easily, turn off the lights while I’m holding a sleeping baby and more. Maybe I should write a post about all the things we use them for.
One of the many things I ordered during the first week of X’s life was a Gro Company GroEgg – it’s currently over half price. It’s important to know the temperature of the room your baby is sleeping in and the GroEgg has been fab. I like that it has a colour system so you can see it across the room and know if the room is too hot or cold.
I hope you all have a fab weekend.Find me here: Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook
