It is just devine for my feet to be able to wear converse to work, just devine I tell you. It’s nice to let my feet have a day or two of a very comfy shoe and a few days of sometimes, not always though, less comfy healed shoes or flats!
As soon as I got home from work I was sitting in the garden, reading Grow Your Own Drugs and trying to find something I can make to help my hay fever go away … As soon as I have tried something out I shall let you know ! This book is just full of such fantastic advice on how to make your own ‘drugs’, I will post a few photos of the book later. You can find out how to help your eczema, tea to help your memory and so much more!
Oh by the way, it cost about £6.00 from The Works , which used to be Book Sale and that is what i still call it !

I DID NOT GO TO GLASTO ….
How silly to NOT go to Glastonbury this year, please tell me why I did not ! I am looking forward to reading those blogs of lucky girls and boys who did decide to go to Glastonbury this year. It really is always the best week of the year, so many magical things happen there !
The first few photos are me at Glasto in 2007 and 2008 … and uploaded with Blogger.. The rest are also from 2007 and 2008 but I uploaded them with a new feature on Flickr which is just fab !
Just for those who are not sure ( I doubt there are many ) Glastonbury is a festival in the UK which happens once a year on Worthy Farm ! It is huge…and I mean huge, when i last went I stayed away from the main stages and made my way around the magical hidden areas of Glasto, I walked and walked, yet still did not see everything! Some of the things I saw can be seen here or over at my Flickr page !

A working girl in the city..
A little coffee break at works means that I have a little time to do a quick update. I have spent the past week sorting out the office I am working in, getting all the admin things in order and organised for when a new admin person joins. This has kept me very busy, as well as having many meetings (which always involve coffee – delightful ) and being appointed as a Creative Manager in charge of several units.
I took these photos the other day and uploaded them here, but I have just deleted one or two whilst writing this post and of course, I do not have them on the computer here to re up load ! I have been wearing my £2.50 Primark bracelet quite often, it is a clasp style bracelet with hearts on…whats not to like ! The dress code at my place of work is rather relaxed, I have taken a few photos of the outfits I have been wearing and will post them on here this weekend ! I did promise you outfit posts didn’t I ! However, now I am quite content and am settled into the job I am ready to become a little more creative with my work outfits. I want to be smart but casual , I am not a big fan of jeans so I tend to wear skirts and dresses which I feel come across smart/casual. Ok that turned into a little ramble and I must continue with work!
Hair flowers always go down quite well don’t they ! ?
A few points that I am trying to follow each day… drinking more water is a big one for me, I tend to drink way too much coffee, tea, green tea, lemongrass etc. So I really need to up my water intake !
Any tips on how to help your nails grow, or maybe keep them strong? Mine tend to get quite week as they grow, they don’t look very nice to be honest..I do nibble them a little if I get nervous so I guess I need to hold back on having a nibble and let them grow ! I think that if your nails look pretty then it really pulls a whole outfit together, it shows you look after yourself too ! So yes, pretty nails please !

Caravan club !
This photos is from : Snailtrail ! Since blogging I have found ways of expressing my interests in ways which I may not have through university/studying and such ! Since reading blogs like Delightfully Tacky and Girl meets NYC oh, and of course, many many more, have made me realise that you must focus on what YOU want to do in life, YOUR dreams and goals and do them !! You must … and this is what I am going to do !

First off = I have just got a job, which I love, so I can now start to save ( yes anything in life iyou need a little more for..that is just the way it is ) towards my plan/dream ! I am hoping that I wil save for a year maybe and pave the steps towards my dream.
I adore travel/photography/nature/people/life/music and a splash of fashion of course.. I hope to bring all of these into my “plan”
Ok, the dream, – I want to travel and see the world -this I shall do.
Since I was very young I have dreamed, yes dreamed of owning a delightful VW Camper Van, making it very pretty and seeing Europe and who knows where else in it ! So my first stage is to pick the mode of trasport I think will be most appropriate of course a VW Van is quite near the top but I will be looking at other options and I am open to ideas of course as to which will be the best for what I want to do..
My options so far :
VW Camper Van
Black taxi cab
Sooty and Co style camper van – A little bigger of course!
This is just part one of many posts, I hope to maybe to another in the morning, but now my mind is full of exciting thoughts and ideas which I need to get down onto paper and I am going to get my things ready for work !
I hope that this post will make a few of you a little excited as I am already !
Oh and thank you for the comments from some lovely readers saying they would like it if I posts bigger photos, I shall get onto this ! Oh and yes, I will start doing outfit posts again, I promise

What about this iPhone 4 …
Are you a Blackberry or an iPhone ..or another smartphone ? or maybe you have a “normal” phone and don’t need to have every form of communication on one device. – It can get a bit dull that everyone can contact you in about 10 different ways if you don’t pick up your phone can’t it ! However, dispite saying that I am a bit of a Blackberry girl, I keep my iPod seperate and it has been just fine that way for a while now. But now, I am getting sucked in with all this new gossip about the soon to be new iPhone .. and I must say, it is getting me very excited ( also along side the fact that I would like an iPad and feel they would go well together ) !
Oh and iJustine is one of many who has got me a little excited about the iPhone – you may know/love/hate her from her Youtube channel – !

I had a cup of coffee and a spot of lunch in Nexus Art cafe in Manchester. The menu had changed so I did not manage to get my usual, I went for a more healthy veg based option ! Later that night I met some friends and went to a mini festival / gig at Platt Fields Park. Ian Brown was the headline act, I have seen him before, a few years ago infact, and he was fab. This time however, I could not really hear him, but what I did hear was good. It was a bit of a let down in all honesty and it got me craving Glastonbury – Which for some silly reason I am not going to this year !

For the first time in a while I got a seat on the train home – Note the less healthy frappe ! ! Oh did I tell you I got my BB replaced and sent back to me ?! Well thank you very much 3, this time I had really good customer service from you ! Makes a change I must say !
